I haven't any pictures of the 2000+ international students studying in Scandinavian countries that gathered for a cruise from Stockholm to Tallinn in Estonia, so I will not comment much about it here. I will say that a buffet with free beer and wine was offered the first night on board. I believe that explains the brevity of this post.
The boat cruise to Tallinn was the beginning of two weeks of travel over my easter holidays. If you have read any previous posts you can imagine that 1 gigabyte of photo memory for two weeks of travel is very slim; that amounts to only a few hundred pictures. Additionally, you only see about 1/3 of the pictures I take, after the junk pictures have been tossed aside.
This and the next few posts will therefore be jam-packed with only the best to see of all that has passed my field of vision over 19 days.

A view of Tallinn. In the distance you may see the frozen Baltic Sea; this was a big deal for people who do not originate in a northern country. |

Front view of the St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church. Definitely THE thing to see while in Tallinn |
|
Side view; I'm a huge admirer of this style of church, I enjoy the change from abrupt peaks and spires to rounded caps. |

I get excited whenever I see the Canadian flag in Europe, although it didn't want to show it's full face while we were present. This building is likely the Canadian Embassy. |

Tombstones line the left side of this side street. |

Same street as depicted above. |
